Performance management as an effective managerial method to inspect
existing problems,improve performance and promote the realization of strategic goal of enterprises has been paid much attention by managers. Performance appraisal is the key for performance management, therefore, the design and implementation of it is crucial for enhancing performance. In accordance with the theory and method of modem performance management, the essay focuses on a complete and deep analysis on the existing perfonnancc management model of petrochina Dalian Petrochemical Company, and also presents a series of improvement solution.
