By expounding the images of Huckleberry Finn, this thesis aims to explore Mark Twain’s writing intention behind characterizations. Research Methods Close reading Literature review Case study within the framework of formalist criticism Aim and Objectives The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is one of Mark Twain’s best novels, which is comparable to all the long novels that Mark Twain has written. By expounding the images of Huckleberry Finn, this thesis aims to explore Mark Twain’s writing intention behind characterizations.
