It is said that it was invented by Zhuge Liang during three kingdoms period. It’s kind of staple food（主食） for the people born in the North. steamed?twisted?roll花卷 steamed?stuffed?bun包子 All of their origin are same with the steamed bun. There is not much different among them. They Just made in different way. Jiaozi also is a kind of traditional ancient pasta food which is getting of numerous Chinese people love. The people born in north will eat it during the spring festival. Noodle was originated in China. It has four thousand years history. Noodles is a kind of simple, convenient and rich nutrition food. It has been accepted by the people of the world for a long time. Moon cakes are celebrate for The Mid-autumn festival. The shape of moon cake is round. It is symbolizing the reunion. And it reflects the peoples aspiration for family reunion. A very popular food during the Dragon Boat festival is Zongzi. This tasty food consists of rice dumplings with meat, peanut, egg yolk, or other fillings wrapped in bamboo leaves. The tradition of Zongzi is meant to remind us of the village fishermen scattering rice across the water of the Mi Low river in order to appease the river dragons so that they would not devour Chu Yuan.
