In this article, we take the example of Shanghai Internation- al Studies University (SISU) and carry out an investigation on the titles of those master’s thesis and doctoral dissertations, a total of 133 from the master’s and 10 at doctoral level until the present since the beginning of the Hispanic philology postgraduate formation of the University, from multiple aspects such as the distribution of the annual quantities, the research orientations, the research methods and the range of topics, in order to base on the investigation an analysis concerning the development of the Hispanic philology post- graduate education.
