ABSTRACTSince ABSTRACT Since the 1980s，the technology of middleware was used to support interchange and cooperation of information of partially autonomic system by screening heterogeneity of systems．With the increasement of the request of information dobalization and computing multiplicitiy,people hope to realize not only the parallel transaction in the field of computation，but also copupling between middiewares and other components relaxes to make distributed computation applications combinate and take down in accx)rding tO many ways．However,there is limitation with a middieware，which only links distributed resources statically．Every computation just USeS limited resources via c／s，but if other resources are temporarily needed in the course of computation，it will be weak．All these spur the distributed computation entirely enter the era of Intemet．The Web—oriented resolution rapidly became hotspot and Web Service is ode of key technologies． Web Service is based Oil futemet and realizes itself by combining efficient n-tiers computation technology and the notions of Web that is message—oriented and LC．Web Service is a distributed application，established on the Simple Object Access Protocol(SOAP)．砸le essentiality is that XML attempers RPC by HTTP． The paper starts by introducing the footslone of distributed computation--XML and correlative process technology and transform technology．XML and XML Schema that solve data expression and data type respectively are key powers，which drive the development of Web Service．Then SOAP based On XML and HTTP is educed further,which offers basic protocol criterions serve as information transfer occurring in the system of Web Service．At the sanle time，WSDL and UDDI are introduced．SOAP、WSDL and UDDI are three technologies tO establish Web Service．How does WSDL cooperate with UDDI，how to realize WSD乙UDDI and work principles of Web Service are explained：Finally,a Ftm environment based the framework of J2EE iS deployed，and a Web
