1) 掌握动词的现在分词形式的构成方式。
2)掌握现在进行时定义、结构、用法及以下句型
①—I am not listening to music. —I am learning English.
②—Is he reading a newspaper? —Yes, he is./No, he isnt. /No,he is doing his home.
—Are they using the computer? —Yes, they are./ No, they arent.
③—What are you doing? —Im watching TV.
—What’s he/she doing? —Shes/Hes washing the clothes.
—What are they doing? —They are listening to a CD.

运用现在进行时态来谈论人们正在做的事情。

2. Watch a video and find the tense in the video.
Step2. Presentation
Discuss and answer the questions about the Present ContinuousTense .
Step3. Exploration activities
1.Individual activity
Ss find v-ing forms of the given words, then read aloud together and remember the words.
2. Ask and answer (T-Ss)
Show some pictures on the screen and ask some students to perform the actions.)
e.g. T: What are you doing?
S: I am doing homework. (Help him/her to answer)
T: What is he /she doing?
Ss: He /she is doing homework.
Teach: watching TV, cleaning, reading a book, eating dinner, talking on the phone...as the same way.
3.Pairwork and exercises.
—What are you doing? —Im watching TV.
—What’s he/she doing? —Shes/Hes washing the clothes.
—What are they doing? —They are listening to a CD.
Step4. Game (guess)
Ask a student do action, let the other Ss answer.
T: Now lets play a game. Whats she/he doing? Let the Ss guess.
