Page:* This chart provides a graphical display of the magnitudes of the different sources of variation compared to the Part-to-Part variation. Components of Variation is a visualization of the final table in the Session window output, displaying bars for: Total Gage R&R, Repeatability, Reproducibility (but not Operator and Operator by Part), and Part-to-Part variation. Page:* In the X-bar chart, points inside the control limits are indistinguishable from each other. For an ideal gage, the control limits should be on top of the grand mean, showing perfect resolution. The range chart shows whether any operator or part had a much larger than normal range of measurements. In this chart, it appears that operator 3 had more variability than operators 1 or 2. X-bar Chart by Operator displays the measurements in relation to the overall mean for each operator, allowing you to compare operators to each other, and to the mean. R Chart by Operator displays the variation in the measurements made by each operator, allowing you to compare operators to each other. Page:* By Part displays the main effect for Part, so you can compare the mean measurement for each part. Page:* By Operator displays the main effect for Operator, so you can compare mean measurement for each operator. Page:* Operator by Part Interaction displays the Operator by Part effect, so you can see how the relationship between Operator and Part changes depending on the operator. Page:* A gage run chart is a plot of all of your observations by operator and part number. A horizontal reference line is drawn at the mean, which can be calculated from the data, or a value you enter from prior knowledge of the process. You can use this chart to quickly assess differences in measurements between different operators and parts. A stable process would give you a random horizontal scattering of points; an operator or part effect would give you some kind of pattern in the plot. Page:* A gage run chart is a plot of all of
