The shield machine is one kind uses in excavating the underground tunnel specially the large-scale complete set construction，Excavates in the city tunnel obtains the more and more widespread application. The cutting tool takes on the shield machine most important part, Domestic to its design research still place start stage. However,Being acrucial factor in influencing the performance of shield machine，the cutterhead designis one of the key issues of shield machine. The present paper has conducted the research to the shield machine cutting tool and the cutter head shaping as well as the expiration form analysis and the preventive measure, The concrete content is as follows: Has studied the cutting tool form and the disposition analysis, Detailed elaboration cutting tool attrition and abrasive resistance, Has analyzed the cutting tool expiration form and the management.
