There is little snow this winter in north of China, but in south of China, there is too much snow, especially Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui and so on. Snow brings a lot of trouble but fun, too. When I see the white snow, I can’t help thinking of a poem. It’s written by Chen Yi. “大雪压青松,青松挺且直,要知松高洁,待到雪化时。” It’s a Chinese poem. Do you know other Chinese poems? Teaching steps(教学过程设计) Step 1. Warming up: Ask the class some questions about a Chinese poet and enjoy one of his poems. And then enjoy a poem by Byron. Who is this man? Is he famous? Why or why not? What do you think of the picture? Do you want to write a poem?
