It is a flagship event of the InnoTech Month which is organised by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC). The Carnival focused on 3 main themes, namely robotics innovation and technology, intelligent living and green technology. A wide selection of programmes were available for members of the public during the InnoCarnival, including -  Exhibitions: Around 90 booths / pavilions were set up by more than 40 programme partners, including local universities, technology enterprises, government departments, professional bodies and youth bodies, etc. to showcase their innovation and research results to give the public a feeling of ‘Made in Hong Kong’ technology achievements.  Innotalks: 26 talks covering a wide range of topics such as robotics and renewable energy, 3D animation production, aerospace technology, RFID technology, etc. were available in the Carnival.
