大连理工大学专业学位硕士学位论文摘 大连理工大学专业学位硕士学位论文 摘 要 随着我国经济的发展、社会的进步，城镇的人口及机动车数量也随之急剧增长，因 而导致交通流量过大，交通拥挤堵塞现象日趋严重，交通事故频繁发生等问题。虽然公 安交通管理部门不断加大管理力度，仍难以从根本上遏止交通违法行为多发的势头，因 此，必须在交通管理中运用科技手段进行管理。智能交通系统(ITS：Intelligent Transportation System)已成为当前最热门的研究课题，而视频技术作为ITS的重要组 成部分，引起了领域内科研人员的高度关注。本文重点探索、研究了基于视频的车辆跟 踪与交通事件检测系统中的相关技术问题。 文中通过对国内外视频图像技术在智能交通领域的应用发展状况进行调研，重点研 究分析了基于视频图像处理的交通流检测技术，并且把它与目前其它正在使用的检测技 术进行了比较，总结出基于视频的交通流检测技术特点。文中详细描述了现有视频技术 在ITS方面的应用，分析其原理，深入探讨了视频理论与技术，给出了使用视频技术解 决城市交通管理中问题的解决方案，重点研究了车辆视频跟踪与事件检测系统的解决方 法。 文中所给出的解决方案经过了实际使用的检验，取得了良好的效果。 关键词：视频技术：交通管理；智能交通 视频技术在城市交通管理中的应用Application 视频技术在城市交通管理中的应用 Application of Video Technology in Urban Traffic Management Abst ract With the development of economy and society of China,it causes many problems that traffic jams become increasingly serious and traffic accidents occur frequently that the quantities of population and the vehicles also fast rise．Although it increases the power of management，the department of public traffic security management cannot fundamentally suppressed the tendency which those break the law of the traffic．Therefore，we had to use more advanced methods to resolve the city traffic problems．Intelligence transportation system(ITS)issue has already become the focus in the field．Taking video technology as the important component of ITS，scientific researchers emphasize on the researches in this field． 耵le paper makes researches in several issues including tracking vehicles and examining system in traffic accidents based on video technology． Through investigating the present development of video and image technology in intelligence transportation at home and abroad，the paper emphasizes on the examination technology of traffic flow based on processing video and images．Furthermore it makes a comparison、顽tll other examination technologies and summarizes the examination technology characteristic on the video transportation．ne paper described the existing video technology in detail in the application of ITS and analyzes
