The Novel Design of the Magneto-rheological
Damper for Vehicles

Abstract : Compared with other dampers ，magneto-rheological (MR)damper has more advantages
such as rapid response ，low energy consumption ，wind dynamic range ，easy control and so on.
Aiming at the MR damper for vehicles ，a novel MR damper is designed taking into consideration the
structural type ，part material ，connection of parts ，engineering application and other factors. The
designed MR damper is reasonable and of high property.
