The The Study on Training and Pruning of‘‘Xiantao 1’’ (Lucuma nervosa) Lu Yanchun (College ofAgriculture，Guangxi University,Nanning 530004，China) Abstract ‘Xiantao 1”(Lucuma nervosa)was used as experimental material，the effect of plant growth，yield and quality of Lucuma nervosa“xiantao 1”by different training system， different pruning methods and time was studied．The results show that： 1．Light intensity，chlorophyll a content，total chlorophyll content，weight of 1 00 leaves and tbick of 1 00 leaves of the open-shape were higher than the dome-shape． Compared with the dome—shape．weight of 1 00 leaves andⅡlick of 1 00 leaves of the open-shape was respectively increased 1 1。69 and 3．9mm．it was significant difference． Rate of flower shoot and fruiting in tree body internal and yield per plant of the open-shape were highelthan the dome-shape，and stereoscopic fruiting．In general，the open—shape is the better tree shape for Lucuma nervosa“xiantao 1”． 2．It would be increase the proportion of medium and short flower branch，no matter which ways of pruning，but total number of flowers does not always increase．At the same time，the results show that number of flowers of Lucuma nervosa“xiantao 1”reach to a certain degree，it would have no great influence on number of fruits．Pruning on February 1 1 has the largest number of flowers and get the heaviest of yield plant，which has the same effect as cutting back leaving 30cm pruning of last year shoots．Overall，methods of spring prtming of Lucuma nervosa‘‘xiantao 1’’is suitable to cut short leaving 30cm of last year shoots on February 1 1． 3．The best of slimmer pruning treatments is topping the summer shoots which 3 0cm length and thinning．The pruning treatment Can reduce fruit dropping rate and improve single fruit weigh，yield per plant and total sugar content．The fruit dropping rate was 67．30％，was the lowest of all treatments，and lower than control 1 0．60％．Its single fruit weight and yield per plant were respectively 278．1 g and 43．38kg,w
