AbstractThe Abstract The text stressed on hackling and discoursing detailed upon Wu zhonghan’S producing by stages and society activities，artistic ideas，according to the clue of Wu zhonghan’S artistic producing and society activities，through relatively detailed information and precise analyzing，differently to introduce and discourse detailed upon Wu zhonghan’S enlightening of art，early woodcarving and activities，the producing and propagandizing on resisting baRle’S woodcarving，the literature work in Xiamen and Taiwan，hard producing in rough，as well as upper inventing and teaching．Through in—depth anatomying the connotation and aesthetic pursuit of his work of art，exhibiting painter Wu zhonghan’S stalwart and clinging artistic pursmt，rich and sagacious thinking in his abundant life．displaying the age particularity and thumbprint of his work， affirming his an-neglectable artistic and historical contribution on Fuj ian and southeast’S print career． In this thesis，we mostly investigate something by applying Science of Art in combination with Fine Arts，esthetics，Philology，history and other related subjects．At the sarfle time，through referring to a mass of picture-character date and brim knowledge，in particularly through visiting Wu zhonghan’s students，colleagues and SO on in person， gained some rarity data such as old photograph，epistle ete．The research on famous painter Wu zhonghan not only a case study,but also the refraction of that age’S artist’S common aesthetic standard，value concept，character pursuit and art self-restraint．It is a kind of retrospection and taste，it is also a kind of ponder and expectation． ^ Keywords：Wu zhonghan，resisting banle’S woodcarving，art thought，age idiosyncrasy 111 .·t， .·t ， t 俨ll，t1弘 W 中文文摘中文文摘 中文文摘 中文文摘 二十世纪二三十年代，新兴木刻运动在鲁迅先生的积极倡导下迅速发展起来， 并在中国现代美术史上产生了深远的影响。版画家吴忠翰就是在鲁迅先生及罗清桢 等老一辈木刻家的影响下成长起来的。吴忠翰经历了抗日战争的滚滚硝烟及建国前 后的白色恐怖，把满腔的热情和横溢的才华献给了祖国的抗日救亡与解放战争。在 反右斗争及文革的冤屈岁月里，吴忠翰身心备受摧残，却依旧执着于自己的艺术事 业。吴忠翰一生致力于抗战木刻的创作、宣传，致力于版画的教育事业，积极探索 版画创作技法与形式的新变，影响
