青岛理工大学工学硕士学位论文AB 青岛理工大学工学硕士学位论文 AB STRACT Rock masses is not homogeneous，SO it makes difficult to confirm real mechanics parameters and their size effect，it has been researhed and proved that joints distribution accords with fractal regulations．Combining fractal theory and similar theory,this paper instructs actual rock mass engineering which is simulated，according to researching the strength and deformation size effect rules and varying rules along wi血the fractal dimension of similar size blocks attained in the lab．111is method has many merits，such aS convenient，economical．It has enormous academic and practical significance． Tllis paper attains following achievements by combining theory and practice： 1)m paper improved technology parts of usmg similar material to simulate fractal joints． 2)m paper more studied the size effect of uniaxial compressive strength， deformation modulus and poisson ratio of rock masses which have fractal joints and attained their basic rules according to size change． 3)m paper analyzed the basic rules of uniaxial compressive s廿ength and deformation modulus of rock masses which have fractal joints varying along with fraetal dimension of rock masses joints distributing． 4)m paper analyzed the basic rules of uniaxial compressive strength and deformation modulus of rock masses by synthetically considering size effect and fractal dimension． 5)m paper put forward the compressive strength and deformation modulus of the fractal joints rock masses mathematical model along with size and fractal dimension varying by making matlab program． By checking computations we knew simulated rock masses error between function value and examination value Was within the range of engineering permission．So the function expression could instruct actual rock mass engineering which is simulated，also established a firm foundation for the fl／l血er research． Key words：fractal theory,fractal dimension，joints，fractal joints rock masses，similar theory,size effect II 青岛理工大学工学
