摘要关键词：升金湖鸿雁觅食行为觅食效率苦草食物质量 摘要 关键词：升金湖鸿雁觅食行为觅食效率苦草食物质量 II AbstractAbstract Abstract Abstract Field work was conducted at Shengjin Lake National Nature Reserve (300 1 6’-30026’N，11 6058’一l 1 70 11’E)in Cizhou City．Shengjin Lake is a large shallow freshwater lake lying to the south of Yangtze River and is connected to the Yangtze River via Huangpeng Sluice．1he climate belongs to the classic semi-tropical monsoon climate． ，nle Swan Goose Anser cygnoides is a globally threatened species．Almost all the population winters in China,SO it is also called the Chinese Goose．Historically, the species was widely distributed throughout the floodplain but now approximately 95％of the population is confined to Jiangxi and Anhui province．There were 10，000—20，000 Swan Geese at Shengjin Lake during surveys conducted in winters 2003／2004 and 2004／2005．but only about 2,400 were found during winter 2007／2008．To determine why the number of Swan Geese declined SO quickly,we conducted research numbers and distribution at the lake，and their diet，feeding behaviour and food quality during winter 2008／2009． From Oct 2008 to Apr 2009，we conducted nine surveys．The results showed that the number of Swan Geese continued to decline，with the highest number being about 1,200(in December 2008)．The main food of Swan Goose is Vallisneria sp． tubers．The plant survey in summer 2009 showed that the submerged vegetation coverage in the lake，especially of Vallisneria,was low due to the introduction of intensive aquaculture that result in the disappearance of aquatic vegetation．At the same time，changes in lake hydrology post-Three Gorges Dam may also have adversely affected submerged vegetation productivity． The Vallisneria tuber density survey revealed that only three sites have a high density,and two of these are the main Swan Goose feeding areas．The activity budgets at these two sites show that feeding and resting are the main activities．The main feeding behaviour includes dip—feeding and
