内容分析:本部分通过动物园中的鸵鸟呈现了要学习的四个形容词,教学目标是学生能够听说、认读图中所学的形容词。大部分的学生有参观动物园的经历,本课紧扣住动物园场景及创设更多生活中与动物有关的场景进行教学,以任务驱动教学,使学生既能感受到有意义的词汇学习,又能跟学生的经历建立联系。
教学步骤:

Words:short,long,small,big

Be able to do the actions with the video.

Teaching Procedures
Step 1:Warm-up
Listen,watch and do.
Look at the screen and do the action with it.
Look at the pictures and talk about what do they look like.(Pictures of pig,monkey,giraffe.)
Step 2:Presentation
Let’s learn
1.T shows a picture of the ostrich.
T:What is it?
Ss:It’s an ostrich.
2.Learn the new words.
T shows the picture of the ostrich,then plays the sound:Wow,it has a small head.Learn the word small,Ss read after the recording.The same way to learn other words(big,short,long).
3.Listen to the recording and read after it.
4.Listen and number the words.

Watch the screen and do the action with it.
Step 3:Practice
Riddle.According to the description and guess what it is.
2Look at the elephant and talk about what does it looks like.
Guessing Game.
Look at the pictures and describe them,then guess what they are.
Emotion Education.
Read the paragraph and build a sense of protect animals.
Practice
Look at the pictures and choose the right answers.
Read and guess.
Step 4:Consolidation and extension
Describe your pet to your parents.
Complete your exercise-book.
