There are many people in the hall. 二、There be句型的定义及结构 1、定义：There be句型表示某地有某物或某人。 2、结构：一共分为两种 ①There is +可数名词单数形式/不可数名词 There is a book on the desk. 桌子上有一本书。 There is some water in the bottle. 瓶子里有一些水。 ②There are +可数名词的复数形式 There are some pictures on the wall. 墙上有些图画。 There are two apples in the basket. 篮子里有两个苹果。 3、就近原则 如果there be 句型中有两个或两个以上的主语时，be动词要和 最靠近它的那个主语在数上保持一致。如： There is a pen and some books on the desk. 书桌上有一支钢笔和一些书。 There are some books and a pen on the desk. 书桌上有一些书和钢笔。 练一练：看名词 1. There is a knife in the kitchen. 否定:There is not a knife in the kitchen. 2. There are five apples on the tree. 否定:There are not five apples on the tree. 3.
