Ability Aims . Talk about one’s appearance. 3. Moral Aim make students know not judge people by their appearance. Teaching key point: how to ask one’s appearance, and describe one’s appearance Teaching difficulties: -What does he/she look like? -He is …and ….and he /she has ...hair. The Analysis of Teaching Process Step 1 - - - Greeting 1. Exchange greetings with the Ss. 2.Show the teaching aim on the screen Step 2 - - - Leading-in (1min) Show a picture of a mother and a child T: What are they doing? Do you think who can get the basketball easily, the mother or the child? And why? Lead in the answer “The mother is tall , the child is short.” T; What does the mother look like? She is tall. Step 3 Presentation (15mins) 1. Show a picture of three persons (different heights) teacher teaches the new words ,medium, height Show 3 persons’ pictures on the screen about Sun Yang, Deng Chao and Wang Zulan. Practice showing the picture, ask: ----What does Sun Yang look like? ---He is tall. -----What does Wang Zulan look like? ---He is short. ---What does Deng Chao look like? ---He is not tall or short, he is of medium height.. then ask the question about the students’ height, 教学设计说明由旧入新,教授新单词。并在黑板上呈现,便于学生熟悉记忆,练习所学单词,以及把单词融入句子中去练习。 2.
