2. 教学难点:表示方位介词的理解与正确运用及指路的表达方式。
三、教学过程
Step 1. Warming- up
1. (复习地点介词、 方位介词,视频)
2.Show Ss some street signs, explain what the street signs mean on the board.(Give drivers information, instructions or warnings.(可适当增加其它交通标志,No parking.禁止停车No turning around.严禁掉头)
1a. Match the words in the box with the signs.
Step 2. Listening
Look at the map .
1. 1b.Look at the picture, find out where the speakers are, then talk about how to get to A\B .
Listen and write the correct place for each letter in the picture.
2.1c. Listen again. Fill in the blanks. Check the answers. Learn the language points.
Step 3. Groupwork
Look at the picture of 1b.
1. Divide the Ss into groups. Each group has two students.
2.1dImagine you and your partner are the two people in the picture in 1b. Ask and answer questions about the places.
Step 4.Practice
Watch the vedio and learn more about asking for and giving directions on the street.( 真实情境中运用所学的问路指路的表达)
Talk about their neighborhood in pairs. Get some pairs to act out their conversations.
