Warming- up and revision Review the knowledge on the present progressive tense. Ⅱ. Presentation 1. T: Show some pictures on the big screen. Ask and answer questions about the pictures. 2. Give Ss some time to ask and answer in pairs about the pictures. Ⅲ. New lesson 1. T: Show some pictures. Ask them some questions about the pictures. Like what is it? And Where? What are they doing? At the same time ,teach the new words. 2. Ss work in groups. Th en fil l in the blanks. Check the answers. 3. Look at the pictures and ask and answer questions. Give Ss a model: A: Is the man swimm ing in the river? B: No, he isnt. Hes swimming in a pool. Ss work with their partners. Ask and answer about the pictures.
