Teaching aims:

Students can master and memorize the new words: tiger, panda, koala, cute, smart…
Students can learn and understand the sentence structure: why do you like pandas? Because they’re cute.
ability aims:
students are able to understand and use the sentence structure: why do you like pandas? Because they’re cute.
Students are able to use the adjectives to describe animals and to express their preferences.
Students will get improvement in listening and speaking about animals.
Emotional aims:
Students will know more about animals and learn to get on well with animals.
Teaching key points:
= 1 \* GB3 \* MERGEFORMAT ① students can master these new words: tiger, giraffe, smart...
= 2 \* GB3 \* MERGEFORMAT ② students are able to use the structure “ why do you like...s? Because they’re...” to talk about their preferences and describe animals.
Teaching difficult points:
Students can use the words to describe different kinds of animal and express their preferences.

Step1: lead-in:
= 1 \* GB3 \* MERGEFORMAT ①greet students and divide students into four groups. Students answer questions in groups and you can get points. The group with the highest points will get some prize.
