II II Abstract The communications network in the future includes: a fixed communications network, mobile communications, digital television networks, metro data networks, wide area data network. Corresponding these networks, we can access them by terminals such as video telephony, mobile phones (mobile terminals car), interactive Digital TV, UMPC and PC. People in different time and spaces will be under in different networks, but through various communication terminals they can communicate each other instantly. This paper started with an actual internet communications project. The project makes people understanding of the digital home internet communications application and scientific principles of different communication networks, by the scene that people participate the quiz together through different networks or communication terminals, wireless or wired for instantly two-way audio and video communications. The project focuses on the fact that different communication terminals can communicate each other immediately in different locations, different network conditions. In the process of communicating each other, the public will fully understand the convenience of communication in the digital age. In the content, starts with Socket, the paper does an in-depth study on the network transmission and the server/client model, discusses the designation and implementation of the network communications system in detail based on the Windows platform. Also, it introduces theoretical knowledge and methods of multi-threaded Socket programming, the Windows-based MFC programming and dynamic link library.
