Abstract: By applying t e contiguous grid quadrats, t e tec nique of censusing
every individual, w it t e time specific met od for life-table analysis, it as
been studied about t e size structure and spatial patterns of dominant
populations from Tiantong s rub community in Z ejiang Province T e results.

populations Based on analyzing t e spatial patterns of t ese dominant popula-
tions, it is s ow n t at only L orop etalum ch ine nse population is of random dis-
tribution type w ile t e ot er populations are of contagious distribution types.
