摘要ABsT从cT 摘要 ABsT从cT Based on the research into the application of a mass of collaborative learning environments,the researchers have perceived that the environments do not completely fulfill the expectations on supporting interactive group learning.Thls is due to the fact that the asynchronous forms of interacting do not satisfy the students with social affective requirements and group attachment.Accordingly,the better forms of real time interaction in collaborative learning environment are in demand. There are two alternative solutions.The first one iS to provide various l eal time collaborative tools in the learning environment to meet diff.erent needs based upon the specific collaborative strategies.The second one iS to establish a standard and incorporate alI the implementations and developments into the constituted frame.The Iatter one iS the ultimate solution which can offer the shared resource and shared services. 111fs paper discusses the current collaborative learning systems and gives the investigation into their application.According to the feedback frOm th色 teachers and the students the paper suggests the limitation of the current systems,such as social interactive deficiency,share deficiency and the absence of standard. 111e paper describes the theories of constructivism.activity and peer relationship and indicateS their meaning for the design of the leal time collaborative learning environment.111e paper constitutes the core protocols supporting the’implementation of the real time collaborative learning environment based on the XML,incorporating the protocols of XMPP and JEP, and presents the modeI based upon the protocols. This paper discusses the core protocols of the real time collaborative learning environment based on the XML presently.ne latter research have been going on in the open source project InstantCo (http://sourceforge.net/projects/instantco/)consisted of the further specific, the implementation of the protocols and the developments.
