The existence of these courses, which clearly counteract the concept of gender equality, reflects, one the one hand, the interaction of universities, patriarchy, the commercial capital and conservatism in political culture, and on the other, the penetration of patriarchal values in campus cultures that are dissipat- ing due, in part, to a growing crisis in the sense of purpose among universities.
