Teaching Procedures: Step 1 Lead in Step 2 Presentation Teach the new phrases and sentences by making predictions. Step 3 Listening (1b) Get Ss more familiar with the sentences in the present future tense. Step 4 Practice (Pair work, 1c) Practice the following sentence patterns. Will people/books/kids...? Yes, they will. / No, they won’t. Will there be ...? Yes, there will. / No, there won’t. Step 5 Listening (2a, 2b) 1. Finish 2a 2. Explain the differences among more, less and fewer. 3. Finish 2b, and correct the sentences. Step 6 Practice (Pair work, 2c) T gives more predictions, and Ss ask each other about their predictions. Step 7 Writing (For development) Ss write down their predictions about the future. Then share with classmates. Step 8 Summary Homework教学反思 引入部分的推测，引起了学生的兴趣； 将相关重点短语作为板书，使学生很好的掌握并熟记，能够按图说出完整的句子；随后的听力部分正是这些句子，因此难度大大降低，进一步加强了学生听和说的综合能力。 本课知识点即一般将来时的一般疑问句及其回答，其中包含there be 结构。通过不断呈现和听说，使学生在潜移默化中掌握这一重要知识点。 There (will) be结构中，需要注意修饰单数或复数的many, much, few, little及其比较级的用法。 接着向学生展示more predictions，拓展其想象力，使他们有话可说，对未来进行预测，互相讨论，进一步通过对话练习巩固所学内容。 最后学生运用所学的will do, there will be, more/fewer/less等，将对200年后未来生活的预测写下来。听说读写能力都得到了锻炼。
