Step.Ⅰ Revision:
Show Ss some different pictures and lead Ss to revise how to make sandwich.
Have some Ss report to the class how to make his/her favorite sandwich. Offer any help if necessary.
Step.Ⅱ 2a:
Show some dates of special holidays in China
Have Ss stand together in pairs to match the dates with the corresponding holidays.
After that, have Ss discuss what kind of traditional food people eat on special holidays in China.
Have two Ss report their results.
Step Ⅲ.2b:
Have Ss read the pictures on the right. Discuss them with the Ss.
The first one: Put the turkey in a hot oven.
The second one: Fill the turkey with something.
The third one: Place the turkey on a plate and cover it with gravey.
The fourth one: Mix together some bread pieces, onions,salt and pepper.
The last one: Cut the turkey into thin pieces.
Have Ss read the article and number the pictures 1-5. At the same time, underline the new words.
Check the answers: 3, 2, 4, 1, 5,
