Section B (1a-1e) 佘颖琦 2016.11.30 教学目标: 知识与能力 1. 掌握本节课词汇:astronaut, apartment, rocket, space station 2. 会运用一般将来时态对未来生活(职业、出行方式、居住地点)进行预测。 3. 能够正确运用不同时态谈论过去、现在和将来。 过程与方法 1. 对听力内容进行预测。 2. 通过听力获取信息,了解Joe的生活变迁。 情感态度价值观 1. 能够预想自己的未来,对未来充满希望和憧憬。 教学重难点: 运用正确时态和句型谈论生活的变迁。 教学流程: Step 1 Lead-in 1. Revise the predictions Ss learnt in Section A (about the world, life and education). 2. T tells the topic of the lesson —— talking about personal life. Step 2 New words Learning (presentation) 3. T asks Ss: what will you be in the future? Ss brainstorm words of jobs. T teaches the word ‘astronaut’. 4. T asks Ss: How do you go to school? How did you go to school in primary school? How will you go to work in the future? Ss brainstorm words of transportation. T teaches the word ‘rocket’. 5. T asks Ss: what about the places we live? Ss brainstorm words of places. T teaches the word ‘apartment’, ‘space station’ Step 3 Listening (practice) 6. Pre-listening: T shows three pictures. Ss look at the pictures and guess what each pictures is about. 7. Work on 1c: Listen and number the picture. Check the predictions Ss make before listening. 8. Listen again and fill in the chart. (practice the new words) Ss point out different tenses we use to talk about the past, now and the future. 9. Role play: Ss ask and answer, talking about Joe’s life. Step 4 Group work (production) Talk show: Student A is the host of a talk show. Student B, C, D are students from different universities/colleges. Student A ask questions and Student B, C, D talk about their lives now, 10 years ago, and 10 years from now. Step 5 Summary and Homework Summary: Talk about the changes of people’s life with different tenses. Life has changed a lot from 10 years ago. Everything will be possible in the future. We should work hard to make our dreams come true. Homework: 1) Write about your life today, 10 year ago and in 10 years, using correct tense. 2) Paper No.33
