一、Teaching Aims:
1、Knowledge aim: Students can know some basic information about the talent shows and master the usage of key words and the superlatives
1) Words: performer, talent, common, all kinds of, beautifully, role, winner, prize, everybody, make up, example, for example, poor, seriously, give
2) Sentences:
①All these shoes have one thing in common.
②That’s up to you to decide.
③But if you don’t take these shows too seriously, …
④They usually play a role in deciding the winner.
2、Ability aim:Students can improve their reading and speaking ability and learn to talk about the talent shows and use the superlatives correctly.
3、Emotional aim:Students can be more confident to talk with others and learn to find some shinning points of others.
Understand the essence and aim of some talent show, in the right attitude towards life some musicians and movie stars, dont be blindly, do groupies.(了解一些选秀节目的实质及目的,正确对待生活中的一些歌星及影星,不要盲目地追风,做追星族)。

2) Read passage 1 and access to relevant information, improve the students comprehensive reading ability.

1. T: Show some famous star picture on the big screen. Tell Ss Who is the best singer/is the most exciting magician/Who is the tallest idol ?/ the most popular writer?
