Step 1. Lead-in
Greetings
Show pictures to introduce some talent shows
T: Do you know the people on the blackboard?
T: Yeah, they are Li Yuchun and Cai Hua Tian Ma. Why do they become famous? Or how do you know them?
T: Yes! Li Yuchun is the winner of 2005 Super Girls. She is the best singer and sings the most beautifully. And Cai Hua Tian Ma joined China’s Got Talent. Her most popular song is 送你葱.
T: What else talent shows do you know?
T: Yes, Happy Boys. ... Look at the pictures on the blackboard. Do you know the talent shows of the pictures?
(Students say out the names together: Chinese Idol, America;s Got Talent, American Idol, Walk of Fame, Voice of China)
