Lead-in 1. 在大屏幕上向学生展示一张邀请函。 T: Hello, everyone! This Saturday is my birthday. So I want to invite some of my students to my birthday party. Can you come to my party? Ss: Sure, I’d love to. / Sorry, I can’t... 2. T shows the language goal of this lesson on the screen. Ⅱ. Check for preview 学生看白屏上的大转盘,说出相应短语。 Ⅲ. Explanations for new words phrases T:Do you know Trump? He is the present of the US. I’ll invite him to my birthday party? Let’s look at his schedule together. OK? (进而引出新短语 have the flu; go to a doctor, prepare for ,available等) IV.Game Challenge your eyes! Ss try to say the phrases in English quickly according to the pictures on the screen. (进一步巩固本单元常用短语,活跃气氛) V. Listening Challenge your ears! 1. T: Now listen to the recording and write the names next to the correct students in the picture. 2. Play the recording for the first time. Students only listen. Play the recording a second time. Write the name of each person next to his or her picture. 3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss. VI. Pair work 1. Tell Ss to look at the reasons in the chart in 2b. Then write some more. 2. Let Ss read conversations in 2c. 3. Ss practice the conversations using the reasons in the chart on the rig
