Revision Check the students’ homework in different ways (play a game to warm up the class) Step 2. Presentation Present the title of this lesson. “Unit 9 Section B”. Step 3. Leading-in. Free talk about the new classroom to lead in the new drill: What is today? And help the students to make up the structure: It’s Tuesday, the 6th. Step 4. Drill practice. Practice asking and answering about the calendar to practice the new words, phrases and drills: What is tomorrow/the day after tomorrow? What was yesterday/ the day before yesterday? Step 5. Practice. Pairwork to talk about activities during a week with the structures: what is your favourite weekday? What can you do? Step 6. Listening practice. Play the CD of 1d and 1e to finish the tasks. Step 7. Reading Play the CD of 2b for Ss to find out David’s invitation. And read again to answer the questions about the message. Step 8.
