Unit 6 I’m going to study computer science. 教材分析: 本课选自人教版新目标八年级上册第六单元,通过谈论各种职业使学生学会陈述想法并表达自己的人生目标。提倡从学生的学习兴趣、生活体验和认知水平出发,通过贴近生活的话题来体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式,使学生逐步掌握本课重难点,本课时正是基于这样的背景设计的。 学情分析: 本课主要是以谈论职业为话题来展开学习,贴近学生的生活,符合生活实际,能使每个学生都能有话可说,有事可做。 学习策略: 本课主要是通过“创设情境”的教学原则,并通过任务型教学交际教学,创造性地使用英语。由易到难,层层推进,给各个程度的学生都提供了开口说的锻炼机会,都有所获。 教学目标: 1. 知识与技能:掌握本单元新的职业词汇,以及重点句型What do you want to be when you grow up? How are you going to do that? 2. 过程与方法:通过“以旧引新”的方法呈现语言目标,以自主、合作、探究的学习方式逐步展开学习。 3. 情感态度与价值观:通过贴近生活的对话谈论梦想,憧憬未来,树立为实现理想而努力的信心。 教学重点: 1. 师生互动、生生对话,掌握本节课重点单词及句型。 2. 正确运用相关的职业词汇来谈论自己的理想职业。 教学难点: 让学生会主动地表达,谈论自己的人生目标。 教学过程: Ⅰ. Lead in Ask the students what’s this in my hand? It’s a diary. Then share one diary with the students to inspire their interest. Ⅱ. Presentation 1. New words Play a guessing game about different jobs. Look at the pictures on the screen. Let the students speak aloud the words on the screen, and they don’t need to put up hands. Learn the following new words: computer programmer. pilot. engineer. violinist. pianist. Then read the new words. Ⅲ. Sentence patterns 1. Learn the sentence patterns on the screen. Explain the underline phrases. --What do you want to be when you grow up? --I am going to be a/an____. 2. Work in groups of four and discuss the use of be going to. Then ask several students to complete the relative sentences on the blackboard. 3. Pair work. Make a dialogue according to the pictures on the screen. 4. --How are you going to do that? --I’m going to___. Ⅳ. Text 1. Listen carefully and finish 1b. Check the answers. First match the name with the right number. Then match the items and fill in the blanks. 2. 1a1c: Which job is the most interesting? Ⅴ. Role-play Divide the class into four teams. Make a conversation about dream jobs. Plan a PK to show their conversation. In the end, give the winning team congratulations. Ⅵ. Emotional promotion Watch a short film. Everyone has dreams.
