Warming up and new words 1.Let students watch the video“Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” to know about the parts of the body. 2. Look at a picture and learn the parts of the body. 3. Ask students to finish 1a and check the answers with the class. Ⅱ. Presentation 1.Look at a part of the bodies’ pictures and guess what the matter is with sb. And ask them: T: Look at the picture, what’s the matter with him/her? Ss: He/She has a cold(has a headache, has a stomachache...) Students look at the pictures and try to remember the new phrases. Then have a competition. Let students play the game “ Brain storm” and then let students spell the new words. Ⅲ. Listening Let students listen to the materials of 1b and check the answers with the class. Listen to the conversations again and fill in the blanks and then check the answers.
