The batch t ests and semi cont inuous t ests of ozonation of pCBA were carried out in order to check whether there was an error during the measurement . The resu ts indicated that pCBA promot ed the decomposit ion of ozone strong y in the batch tests under neutra pH conditions. Its promot ion abi ity was 10 t imes higher than those of formic acid and methano . The s emi cont inuous tests exhibit ed further that the int ermediate product, hydrogen peroxide cou d be formed during ozonat ion of pCBA . And t he generated hydrogen peroxide react ed quick y with ozone and produced a quite amount of hydroxy radica s. Therefore, the chain reaction of O POH# was changed. It resu t ed in errors
