I. Teaching Aims 教学目标

(1)学习并掌握下列单词:hometown
(2)能熟练掌握并使用下列重点句式:
---How long have you had that bike over there?
---I’ve had it for three years.

(1)正确运用现在完成时中for和since引导的时间状语。
(2)掌握现在完成时中非延续性动词和延续性动词的转换。

(1)通过本单元的学习,正确处理并充分利用自己的废旧物品。
(2)学会用庭院销售所赚的钱来帮助处于困境的老人、儿童等。

Step 1 Warm Greetings (2 mins)
Greet students by talking about the weather, date and their weekend.
Teacher: What’s the weather like today?
Ss: It’s rainy and a bit cool.
T:Actually it has rained for almost three days, right? What’s your last weekend? Did you do your homework? Have you finished your homework?
Ss: ……
Step 2 Group work ( 3 mins)
Suppose students are having a yard sale, and guide students to think what they would do with the money they raise by working in groups. Then invite 1-2 students to share their ideas.
Present several pictures of homeless dogs, poor and hungry children and old people. Guide students to help people in need with the money they raise in the yard sale.
Step 3 New words learning(1 min)
Show a picture of Tengwang Pavilion, and get students know the meaning of our hometown---Nanchang.
Step 4 Grammar Points Analysis---Usage of “for” and “since” (10mins)
Present the sample sentences in the Grammar Focus and let students to observe the sentence structures, and find out the differences between the simple past tense and present perfect tense.
