Animals are our friends. Encourage students to care for animals and protect animals.

Teaching Procedures
Step1 Review
Show some pictures and ask students to say two comparisons about them with true facts.
The Yangtze River and the Nile River; a tiger and a panda.
Have one student say the forms of the comparative and superlative degrees with adjectives and the main usage of the comparatives with adjectives and adverbs.
Have students finish Self Check 1 individually. Then ask two students to report their answers.
Step2 Presentation
Show a picture of a panda and a picture of an elephant. Tell students about their height, weight and how much foot they eat every day. Then teach these sentences:
