Abstract Urban river is an important part of the carrier urban ecological environment , promising plays an important role in the economic development of society, it is an urban environment a unique landscape , but also the social and economic development and the protection of important carrier of their production life. Urban river landscape, not only can make the river to play its basic functions, enhance the overall image of the river , but also to enhance the appreciation of land values surrounding the use of space and to promote urban living environment of human settlements to enhance and improve the overall competitiveness of the city. In this paper, the process of domestic and foreign demand for urban river water environment comprehensive management and river water environmental governance as a starting point , based on ecological landscape perspective, to re-examine the construction of urban river landscape .
