摘 要 摘 要 亚当•斯密和维尔纳•桑巴特都是经济伦理领域的大家，面对资本主义的起源发展动 力问题，二人十分审慎并得出了截然相反的结论。亚当•斯密认为节俭是资本主义的源 动力，在资本主义早期上升阶段的社会背景与文化思潮下，他首先从经济学的角度入手， 理性地梳理出积累与消费的关系，然后又从伦理学的角度肯定了节俭的内在精神，通过 联系整合揭示了节俭的起源动力价值。桑巴特以历史事实和消费数据为锲入点，深入探 究奢侈的定义、起源、增长以及性质，他佐证论述了奢侈和资本主义的一致，表明奢侈 与资本主义经济和社会生活相互影响与促进，最终确定了奢侈是资本主义的源动力。 斯密的节俭理论和桑巴特的奢侈动力理论作为两种不同的观点，通过研究理顺了生 产和消费的关系，确立了合理的消费方式，这对我国在实现“中国梦”的道路上如何处 理好节俭、奢侈与发展的关系具有重要意义。 关键词：节俭 奢侈 消费 资本主义 I Abstract Abstract Adam Smith and Werner Sombart are both professors in the field of economic ethics,in the face of the origin of capitalism development problem, they studied deeply but got different conclusion.Adam Smith thought that thrift is the genetic motivity, in the early rising stage of capitalism,backing the social background and cultural thoughts,he started finding the relationship between accumulation and consumption rationally from the angle of economics,and then he affirmed the inner spirit of thrift from ethics,through summarizing Smith revealed the value of thrift as original motivity.Sombart concentrated historical facts and consumption data,explored the definition,origin,development and nature,of luxury deeply,he analyzed the uniformity of the luxury and capitalism,luxury and capitalist economic and social life influencing and promoting each other, in his mind,finally determining the luxury is the driving force of capitalism. Smiths theory of thrift and extravagance power Sombart as two different theoretical perspectives, through research to rationalize the relationship between production and consumption,establishs the reasonable way of consumption, it can play an important role in handling the relationship between the thrift, luxury and development on the way to realizing the Chinese dream.
