入選論文 學生組 2013 年 12 月 097 ～114 頁 從韻律看阿美語擬聲詞的詞彙化及其結構 黃天來  摘 要 阿美語跟其他台灣南島語一樣都是一個古老的語言，許多語言現象，如“詞” 的生成與發展，因限於沒有文獻記載，所以已經無法查考。儘管如此，我們仍然在 人們模仿事物的聲音變成擬聲詞的過程中，發現到了部份阿美語詞彙發展的過程。 在實際觀察中，這些單音節的模仿音，不管是人們、動物、器物或自然物發出來的 聲音，都不能夠直接成為阿美語的詞彙。只有在透過插音法和重疊法等手段令其雙 音節化後，才能被阿美語所接受。究其關鍵主要是因為阿美語韻律系統的制約所致。 關鍵詞：阿美語 擬聲詞 韻律詞 雙音節化 詞彙化 國立新竹教育大學台灣語言與語文教育研究所博士班研究生 98 入選論文 學生組 The lexicalization and structures of Amis onomatopoeia based on prosody Huang, Tien-lai Abstract This study is aimed to explore Amis language by tracking the process of how an individual sound has been developed into a lexical item of Amis. Amis is a language that does not have an original written form, which results in the lack of written records for many different aspects of it, as well as its development. For languages without a literacy tradition like Amis, one of the best ways to obtain their written materials and, in turn, to study them is to record and transcribe the imitative sounds associated with objects they refer to. In this study, more than two hundred different sounds produced by natural sources were analyzed, including people, animals and other nature sounds, in an attempt to investigate how certain Amis words are formed in people’s imitation of a natural sound. The results suggest that most of these words related to people’s imitative sounds are monosyllable. They are dependent on the prosodic tactics – epenthesis and reduplication – to turn the monosyllable into the dissyllable to better fit the lexical system of Amis language. This study helps us to better understand the formation of Amis words from sounds associ
