Part A Let’s learnLook and say) Teaching goals: Knowledge goals:1.Students can master the four-skilled phrases: doing morning exercises,having...class,eating lunch,reading a book,listening to music. 2.Students can listen,say and read the key sentences“What is/are ...doing?”“... is/are ...” Ability goals:1.Students can use the sentence structures“What is/are ...doing?”“... is/are ...”to ask or express things others or they are doing in a real situation. Students can improve their oral English ability and language organizational competence. Students can think positively ,innovate boldly and improve the independent learning ability and cooperative ability. Key points:1.Students can master the four-skilled phrases: doing morning exercises,having...class,eating lunch,reading a book,listening to music. 2.Students can use the key sentence structures“What is/are ...doing?”“... is/are ...”to communicate with others in a real situation. Difficult points: Students can make a new dialogue about things others or they are doing and can act it out boldly. Teaching aids: Multimedia, word cards, courseware. Teaching procedures: Step1 Warming up Greetings. 2.Listen, sing and do. T: Please stand up! Listen to the music ,sing the song and do the actions. Here we go! Step2 presentation 1.Lead-in T shows a cartoon picture of Mcdull, a lovely pig ,and guides students to meet him together. Then leads students to know about Mcdull’s day. 2.T shows a clock on the screen and asks: What is the time? Ss: It’s 6 o’clock a.m. T: What is Mcdull doing at 6o’clock a.m.? T plays the music of broadcast gymnastics and leads Ss to learn the phrases “doing morning exercises” . 3.T shows a clock, plays a beautiful music with a picture of Mcdull with his classmates and music teacher. Then presents the two phrases “having...class” and“listening to music”. Ss read them after the tape and T. 4.T shows a clock and another picture , teaching “eating lunch” . 5.T show a cloc
