A let’s Try Let’s talk
Teaching aims:
1.???Ss can listen and finish the exercise in Let’s try.
2. Ss can listen, read and say the dialogue in Let’s talk.
3.????Ss can use the sentence pattern like What’s your favourite season? / Which season do you like best? and Why do you like…? correctly and freely.

Ss can use the sentences to ask and answer about their favourite season and the reason.

Teaching procedures:
Step1 Warm-up
1.Greetings
T: Good afternoon,boys and girls.
Ss: Good afternoon,teacher.
T:How are you today?(What is the weather like,today?)
Sing a song: Good afternoon to you.
Step2 Preview
Talk with the Ss about the pictures in the main scene, lead to the topic of the Unit.
Watch the video about the main scene.
Step3 Presentation
Chant together if they can, then talk about the weather.
Review the words: rainy cold windy sunny warm hot...
The sentence pattern: What is the weather like today? It’s ...
The listening practice: Let’s try.
Listen for the first time, Ss try to get the answer.
Listen for the second time, Ss and teacher check the answer together.
The dialogue teaching: Let’s talk.
Show the pictures of seasons, ask and answer questions to practice.
Teach words: spring summer autumn winter
B. Chant together: What’s your favourite season?
