Abstr Abstract 万方数据 万方数据 This reflective research report is based on the C-E translation task in the Harbin Trade Fair including company profiles and some project sites overview. This reflective report is completed according to the difficulties encountered in the translation tasks, and the process of solving the difficulties. The report is divided into three chapters for discussion. The first chapter is to introduce the task, language features of the source text as well as the introduction of the company profile; the second chapter is an introduction to the translation process and the translation theories and strategies applied in the translation process; the third chapter is the main body of this report which introduces major problems that appeared in the translation process and ways to solve the problems respectively; the final conclusion summarizes the experience gained in the translation task of company profiles. The author hopes that this reflective report can offer some constructive suggestions for the translation of company profiles so as to make more contributions to the prosperity and development of our country’s economy.
