According to the 计 w self-description of XML, all the data of a pig are saved in an XML document. And the breeding pedigree information are added in the XML document. The evaluation system of XML based on genetic breeding is designed. Through the use of w XML documents centrally stored pigs ’data, administrators can easily query, analyze and transfer pigs ’data. Finally the w precise management of pigs is achieved and the computational efficiency of genetic breeding can be raised.
