Talent and technique chains are important links of docking higher vocational special ties wi th industry development. First, this paper analyzes domestic industry development prosent situation and industrial robot professional construction practice, and thinks it is necessary to corresponds^ construet higher vocational professional cluster to adapt to industrial development, to break through technical and talent bottleneck of developing industrial robot. Second, by clearing the position and role of talent chain and technique chain during docking industrial chain with professional cluster, higher vocational professional cluster was set up according to the talent chain and technique chain of industrial robot industry. Finally, the exploration and practice of the cluster construction of our mechanical and electrical department of related professional was carried out. It vigorously strongthens the connotation construction of higher vocational specialty cluster and provides a new perspective of construction.
