METHODS Use the methods of carrageenan and Xiaozhiling injection respectively into the ventral and lateral lobes of prostate to establish the acute and chronic non-bacterial prostatitis models in rats. The density of lecithin corpuscles(DLCC) and the number of leukocytes in prostatic fluid , the prostate index(PI) and the prostatic histopathological examination were used to evaluate the pharmacodynamics of the ethanol extract of CTD.
