2013 年 5 月 外语教学 May． 2013 第 34 卷 第 3 期 Foreign Language Education Vol． 34 No． 3 基于语料库的研究生学术英语语篇中外壳名词使用分析 娄宝翠 ( 453007) 河南师范大学外国语学院河南新乡 : ， ， 摘 要 本文基于 学习者 学术英语语料库 考察 了研究 生学术英语语篇 中外壳名词 的使 用特点 研究 结果发现研究 生 ， 、 ; 整体缺乏使 用外壳名词的意识 具体表现是使 用的类符缺乏 多样性 标准化频数 明显 少于本族语者 他们 能够低频使 ， ; 用部分所属 学科本族语者频繁使 用的外壳名词 不同的学 习者倾向 于不重复地使 用不同的外壳名词 学习者学术语篇 ， 。 中表达认知立场的外壳名词 占绝大多数 对外 壳名词的使 用存在误 用和缺省两种现 象 本研究对学术英语 写作和教 学有借鉴意义。 : ; ; 关键词 外壳名词 学术英语 立场 中图分类号:H030 文献标识码:A 文章编号:1000-5544 (2013)03-0046-05 Abstract :Based on learners ’EAP corpus ，this research examines the features of shell nouns used in Chinese graduates ’the- ses． The results indicate that there is a significant difference in the types and the standardized tokens of the shell nouns be- tween Chinese learners ’writing and native speakers ’EAP writing in Charles study in 2003． Chinese graduate learners use the high-frequency shell nouns of their research area with low frequency and lack the consciousness of using shell nouns in their academic writing． A great majority of shell nouns are used to express epistemic stance and there exist misuse and omission of shell nouns in learners ’writing． The findings are of significance to EAP writing and teaching． Key words :shell nou
