Is Tom smarter than Tim? She also sings more loudly than Tara. 三、教学过程 Step1:Greeting and lead-in greet ss by hello! how are you ?and chat what are they like:? tall,tall,who is tall? you are tall,you are tall,you are tall. short ,short ,who is short? he ia short, she is short,he is short. thin ,thin, who is thin? im thin, youre thin,she is thin. strong,strong,who is strong? hes strong,shes strong,theyer strong. happy,happy,who is happy? hes happy,shes happy,hes happy. youer happy,theyer happy, were all happy. Step2 presentation 1. Ask Ss to see the pictures about different stars. Then compare some of their things with each other. Show some pictures to Ss. Say They are stars---film stars, sports stars and so on. Ask Ss to tell what they see. Ask Ss to use the words: tall, wild, thin, long hair, short hair, heavy, calm, short and so on. 在本活动中通过听说法配合多媒体辅助教学导入新课,进行师生互动活动引出本课的话题,用多媒体显示图画,如用姚明来让学生感觉单词tall,并以一个矮个short的人物来形成比较,通过连续几幅夸张的比较图片让学生认识并掌握本课所要学的基本词汇,并引出比较级的句子,如:He is taller than him./Sam is wilder than Tom.等句式,本环节以学生原有的知识为切入点谈论过去所做的活动,不知不觉地将学生引入教学交往的境地,进入本课的话题,达到润物细无声之效果,使学生形成积极的情感,主动思维,并形成良好的语感。 2. Show some pictures to make students pay attention to the word “than” and “…er”(导入要联系所学的内容,使学生自然而然地进入新课的学习。) Show the pictures and ask students to compare two things. Liu Xiang is tall.
