MPA学位论文作者：林坚 MPA学位论文作者：林坚 广东省肇庆市忐愿服务发展对策研究 ABSTRACT The word‘voluntary service’has been very popular since the 20m century,and voluntary service has gradually been carried out comprehensively in the world and is playing all increasingly important role in the national economic development and social progress．Voluntary service began to develop massively in the early 90s，in the recent 20 years so，volunteers are playing an active role in poverty alleviation and development，community construction,large-scale competition， people’s production and life，as well environmental protection．In 2006，through the discussion ofon(About the CPC’s major decision the issues ofbuilding socialist harmonious society)，it is pointing out“by using mutual love and community service勰a main theme．to deepen the development of urban and rural social voluntary service activities and t0 build system of social voluntary service that links up directly to government service and marketing service．All of these have illustrated that in the recent and future period；voluntary service has been and will be always considered and placed the overall work of govemmenL well the economic and social development areas．Furthermore，voluntary service is becoming increasingly crucial to carry out the construction of building harmonious socialist society． This paper initially outlines the background of the development of voluntary service and the meaning of it by starting with its concepts that expounds the fruitful result of the theoretical research of voluntary service activities of at home and abroad；compares the status quo of domestic voluntary service to the international which includes the voluntary service traceability,development and characteristics．Ifl the light of the acnm／investigation,it focuses on the analysis ofthe development and status ofvoluntary service ofZhaoqing City and identifies the restrictions of voluntary service development．Strate
